The objective of the organization of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers is to preserve our pioneer heritage and to honor the names and memories of those pioneers who came to Utah prior to May 10, 1869.  To reach our objective, we desire to educate our community, visitors and especially our children about the pioneers who settled what is now called Washington County.

Tours are available for family and friends.  If you want a special tour for a group, it can be arranged.

Saturday, April 15, 2017
10 AM to Noon
Museum Meeting Room

Quilting and Quilts are the focus of our April 3rd Weekend Event and this should be a fun

experience for everyone.  We are asking our visitors to sign a quilt that is being assembled

during the event and when finished will be donated to a local charity.  We hope everyone will

will have fun. There will be live demonstrations of the different types of quilting methods set     up throughout the museum for some hands-on experience.

We have many beautiful pioneer quilts on display and the stories about them and the women

who created them will be highlighted.  The Relief Society Friendship Quilt that has a very

interesting story is going to be the focal point of the display.
