👒 DUP at Hurricane Peach Days 2025

Updated: Sep 11

The DUP Washington East Company participated in Hurricane City’s Peach Days August 28–30, 2025, celebrating pioneer heritage and community spirit.

The Daughters shared a float in the parade with the Sons of the Utah Pioneers, delighting the crowd with a show of community pride. At the Pioneer Corner, visitors enjoyed fresh peach cobbler baked in Dutch ovens. The DUP also hosted an educational booth, where volunteers answered questions about the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, shared information about the McQuarrie Memorial Museum, and connected with new friends who were interested in learning more—or even joining!

Events like DUP at Hurricane Peach Days help preserve heritage, share traditions, and invite the community to experience the museum. Thank you to all the DUP volunteers who made this weekend a success!
