The Rose of Sharon Quilt, created around 1864 by pioneer quilt maker Dorinda Moody Slade, is more than a historic artifact—it is a reflection of early life in Washington County, Utah. Made from locally grown and woven cotton, this quilt carries a legacy of craftsmanship, creativity, and family tradition that continues today.
