On April 23, 2025, the McQuarrie Memorial Pioneer Museum welcomed Liberty Youth Academy as part of their Pioneer Week celebration. Nearly 100 students, teachers, aides, and parents visited the museum for a special tour designed to bring pioneer history to life.
The museum’s involvement began a day earlier, on April 22, with a presentation at the school that introduced students to daily pioneer life and historic inventions. The following day’s visit provided a hands-on learning experience as students explored the exhibits and discovered how early settlers lived, worked, and innovated.
Everyone had a great time, and many left with new insights into the ingenuity, hardships, and accomplishments of the pioneers. Thank you to Liberty Youth Academy for celebrating our shared heritage with us!
The McQuarrie Memorial Museum is also known locally as the DUP Museum or Pioneer Museum. We love welcoming students for educational tours that connect the past with the present.
