Welcome to the January 2026 edition of Muse News, the official McQuarrie Memorial Museum newsletter—also known as the DUP Museum or Pioneer Museum.


As we welcome a new year, we reflect with gratitude on the generations who have cared for this museum and look ahead to the programs and community events that continue that legacy. January Muse News shares important updates, upcoming events, and opportunities to support and serve the museum in 2026.


In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find:

  • Highlights from our December Third Weekend Event featuring the history of the Choir at Temple Square

  • Details about our January 17th Third Weekend Event – Beginning of the Cotton Mission presented by Charles Adair

  • Community events, including Arts to Zion, downtown walking tours, and Tabernacle programs

  • Volunteer opportunities and docent training information

  • Museum reminders as we return to regular business hours
