Native American Petroglyphs with Patricia Kent

Updated: 3 days ago

In October, the McQuarrie Memorial Museum hosted a meaningful Third Weekend Event focused on Native American interpretations of petroglyphs, presented by Patricia Kent.

Explore a remarkable collection of local petroglyphs through Patricia Kent's research. Her presentation examines the Virgin River Anasazi and the messages they recorded in stone and light on a hillside in Southern Utah. Drawing on years of study, Patricia shares insights into their culture, symbolism, and what she believes is a powerful spiritual testimony preserved in these ancient carvings.

This program offers a thoughtful look at how archaeology, history, and faith intersect in the stories left behind by early peoples of the region.
