The DUP Pioneer Museum donated three quilts to the Root for Kids organization in October 2018. 

On December 14, 2018, the Pioneer Museum donated a handmade quilt to Youth Futures. Krista Whipple accepted the donation on behalf of the organization from museum representatives Marilyn MacLellan and Teresa Orton.
